provide counselling sessions
keep basic records as required by my insurance and professional standards
contact someone if there is a serious concern for your safety
My lawful bases for processing data are Contract, Legitimate Interests, Legal Obligation, and Vital Interests.
3. How your information is stored
Your information is stored securely:
digital notes are kept on a password‑protected device
I do not keep paper notes
I do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or for safeguarding reasons
4. How long I keep information
Adult client notes are kept for 7 years
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 6 months
Emergency contact details are deleted when therapy ends
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
access the information I hold about you
ask for corrections
request deletion (with some limits for clinical records)
restrict how your data is used
complain to the ICO if you have concerns
